Tribute to a Warrior

What’s your Definition of a “Warrior”?

Maybe in your mind you see a Soldier or someone clad in Armor, such as a Gladiator. Whatever you envision it would signify someone strong and “fierce”, unafraid to take on any challenge. Fearless!

With all the action movies we see these days, this “symbol” or “embodiment” of unstoppable power is an idol of Strength……We respect it…… We admire it. We wish this strength for ourselves.

     With all the unbelievable power a Warrior may possess sooner or later it becomes a time for them to rest and find peace. To walk each day giving all they have(mentally and physically) is tough responsibility and brings exhaustion to even the fiercest of fighters. Even we machines break down from time to time.

    My tribute to the above description is to my friend Sally. Twenty six days from reaching 100 years old, this amazing Warrior found it time to put down the sword and rest. She passed away yesterday.

I can honestly tell you I have met and know some incredible people in my short 46 years of this life but Sally was THE most amazing one of all. From the very first day I met her she made me feel like family and her friendship was priceless.

     No matter what the situation, whether good times or bad, this “Superwoman” ALWAYS held a smile. To say she had class and elegance would be an understatement. Her smile radiated like the brightest Sun and delivered more love than I’ve ever witnessed.

     We all find ourselves challenged with tough times but this beautiful lady endured the most hardship and never frowned once. I will forever be eternally grateful for her friendship and devastated from her passing. This World is going to miss this woman dearly. Rest in peace Sexy Sally! You made a difference in many lives and I personally will be forever grateful!
