Gov. Kelly Ayotte says Windham is a great place to live because of Bruce Breton's leadership and tireless advocacy.

To the editor:
Windham is a great place to live, work, and raise a family because of leaders like my friend, Bruce Breton.
Bruce is experienced, hardworking, and dedicated to his community, and I encourage your readers to vote for him to continue serving on the board of selectmen.

I've known Bruce since I first served as attorney general, and we continued to work together during my time in the U.S. Senate.
When I was in the Senate, Bruce and retired Windham Police Chief Gerry Lewis were instrumental in helping me get the United States Navy to reverse its decision to end an important program that supported law enforcement by providing local departments, including Windham’s, with surplus equipment.

Without Bruce's leadership and tireless advocacy, the program would have been canceled. His work helped law enforcement in Windham and across our country, and to this day, I'm grateful for his help.
As governor, I know how important the local voice is when leaders here in Concord make decisions. Bruce never hesitates to advocate for Windham, and I'm glad to have him as a partner in keeping our state safe, prosperous and free.
Please vote for Bruce Breton on Tuesday, March 10.
Gov. Kelly Ayotte
