Windham Wolverines 4th grade team came out strong for their first showing of the 2013 season. Mason Rice started the first quarter with a fumble recovery bringing the ball back to the Windham line. Cole Peterson brought some strong yardage and a quick handoff sweep back to Aidan Arinello with 6 minutes left on the clock allowing Windham to strike first and score their first of 5 touchdowns in the game. Arinello returned the ball for the extra point. Cole Peterson dropped a huge block on the defensive line blowing a hole wide open for Brett Boucher to bring the 2nd touchdown of the first quarter to the board with a minute and 37 left on the board. Windham closed out the quarter with a strong tackle by Anthony Gaiero and a quarterback sack by Christian Spinazola.
Second quarter the boys kept hitting hard with another quarterback sack laid down by Joseph Hero and Anthony Gaiero brining a huge 30 yard handoff return deep into the Vikings back line territory. Adam Koza almost wrapped it up with a touchdown but got called back with a flag on the play. Still Koza ran the play again and brought the ball closer to the end line as Christian Spinazola sealed the deal and Koza ran in the extra point for the 3rd Windham touchdown with 6 minutes on the clock.
Third quarter yielded a strong pass reception from Brett Boucher and a big play up the center line from Brody Waldron as the boys continued to fight hard into the second half. Cole Peterson again muscled his way up the middle laying down the touchdown with Aidan Arinello bringing the quarterback keeper in for the extra point.

Windham wrapped up a great game and fought hard with 7 minutes on the clock Spinazzola brought in his second touchdown of the game and Anthony Gaiero bringing home the extra point. Ryan Garcia set the team up with some spectacular kickoffs, the defensive line fought hard throughout the entire game. The NorCross Vikings gave little advantage to the boys and they had to fight the whole way to earn the points on the board.
