WINDHAM, NH — Voters in Windham go to the polls on March 8 to make decisions about town and school budgets as well as political positions, warrant articles, and more.

Here is everything you need to know.

Voting

Voters will cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Windham High School, 64 London Bridge Road.

Town Races, Info

Windham voters have a number of competitive races this year.

James Curtin and Heath Partington are competing for a single 3-year Board of Selectmen’s seat.

The 2-year town moderator position also has two candidates: Peter Griffin and Thomas Murray Jr.

Four candidates are seeking three 3-year Trustee of the Library seats: James Murphy, Theresa Abbamondi, Alphonse Marcil Jr., and Karen Moltenbrey.

A single one-year Trust of the Trust Fund seat has two candidates: Alphonse Marcil Jr. and Daniel Spalinger.

The single 6-year Supervisor of the Checklist position also has two candidates: Richard Parow and Jamison Tomasek.

Voters will also decide whether to spend $6.2 million on conservation land and a $17.6 million town budget (with a default budget set at $17.1 million).

School Info, Races

School district voters have a single competitive race: Orsolya Gall and Dennis Senibaldi are seeking a single 3-year school board seat.

Voters will also decide whether to spend $59.9 million on schools for an operating budget or a default budget of $59.1 million.
