• Nordic Skiing Can Be Found Just About Anywhere (caledonianrecord.com) — Woodsville skiers have a winter outing close to home: the 19.2-mile Ammonoosuc Rail Trail starts at Central Street and connects with Littleton through Bath and Lisbon. Snowmobile clubs groom the route during winter, with river views, Bath’s covered bridge and the Lisbon Depot along the way.
   

• Viola Noyes Obituary (caledonianrecord.com) — Viola Noyes of Peacham, who married Arthur Noyes in Woodsville in 1954, died November 2 at 95. She raised six children, helped care for foster children and milked cows for 33 years. A memorial service is scheduled for November 12 at 11 a.m. at East Peacham Baptist Church.
