• From Mars to Absecon Bay: Students spend summer conducting hands-on research (rowan.edu) — Rowan University students spent their summer doing hands-on research that even included testing soil and water samples from Absecon Bay near Atlantic City, where they found concerning copper and manganese levels. Their projects ranged from Mars’ water ice clouds to new antibacterial coatings and potential non-opioid pain treatments, giving undergraduates intensive lab experience and, in some cases, paid research work.
