1. A beekeeper removed 15,000 bees from outside a North Jersey Starbucks on Monday, and was hoisted on a fire ladder to reach the hive. Ridgewood resident Frank "The Beeman" Mortimer took the hive safely away from coffee-sipping customers and relocated the swarm. (Read more on Patch.)

2. A possible meteorite struck a home in Mercer County, and the College of New Jersey has a team investigating if it's related to the Eta Aquariid meteor shower. The frequency of a space object of this size hitting a populated area is incredibly rare, Prof. Shannon Graham said. (Read more on Patch.)
3. A crash between a motorcycle and an ice cream truck claimed the life of a South Jersey man, police said. The motorcycle hit the front of the truck and its driver, 36-year-old Steven Bass, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. (Read more on Patch.)

4. Hoping to walk under the casino along the Asbury Park boardwalk? You will be out of luck, as the city said it will be closed. The casino, built in the 1920s, has since fallen into disrepair and the city has sued developer Madison Marquette for failing to maintain it. (Read more on Patch.)
5. Another great white shark has been tracked off of the Jersey shore, called "Jekyll" by tracking organization OCEARCH. This eight-foot male pinged off the coast by Sea Isle City on Monday night, and was further north by Atlantic City just after midnight Tuesday. (Read more on Patch.)
