Disabled Tractor Trailer On NJ Interstate: Patch AM Traffic Digest

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 7:40 a.m., there's a crash on US 1 & 9 express lanes northbound north of I-78 in Newark. 1 left lane closed.

As of 7:28 a.m., there's a crash on US 22 eastbound east of Vaux Hall Road in Union Township. 1 right lane closed.

As of 7:26 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway northbound south of Exit 145 - I-280 in East Orange.

As of 7:19 a.m., there's a disabled vehicle on NJ 21 southbound Gouverneur St. in Newark. 1 right lane closed.

As of 6:23 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 17 southbound Highland Cross in Rutherford. 2 left lanes closed.

As of 6:14 a.m., there's a crash and an overturned vehicle on I-80 eastbound east of Exit 30 - Howard Boulevard in Roxbury. 2 right lanes closed; 10-15 minute delay.

As of 4:55 a.m., there's construction on the George Washington Bridge upper level westbound ramp to Palisades Interstate Parkway in Fort Lee. 1 right lane closed until 2:30 p.m.

Central Jersey

As of 7:38 a.m., there's a disabled tractor trailer on I-78 eastbound east of Exit 20 - CR 639 in Lebanon Township. 1 right lane closed.

As of 6:48 a.m., there's a crash on US 1 northbound at Old Post Road-North in Edison. 2 right lanes closed.

As of 6:46 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway southbound Raritan Toll Plaza in Sayreville. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 5:07 a.m., there's a disabled tractor trailer and vehicle off the roadway on I-78 westbound Exit 17 - NJ 21 south in Clinton. All lanes closed.

As of 4:19 a.m., there's construction on NJ 175 northbound from West Upper Ferry Road to NJ 29 in Ewing. All lanes closed and detoured until further notice.

South Jersey

As of 6:43 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 42 northbound north of Exit 10A-NJ 168/Black Horse Pike in Gloucester. 1 left lane closed, 15-20 minute delay.

As of 5:52 a.m., there's construction on NJ 70 in both directions between Cropwell Road in Evesham Township and CR 673/Springdale Road in Cherry Hil. All lanes shift until 11:59 p.m. on July 15.

Transit Updates

North Jersey Coast Line and Northeast Corridor NJ Transit lines are under temporary schedule adjustments are in effect for the next six to eight weeks to accommodate major repair work to the Laurel Avenue Bridge in Holmdel. See here for updated timetables.

All other NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect cloudy skies with a high near 59. Northeast wind 5 to 15 mph, per the National Weather Service.
