Fire On Atlantic City Boardwalk Forces Evacuations: Officials
The fire spread to the Resorts Casino Hotel's exterior wall and part of the marquee above the boardwalk's entrance, officials said.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Firefighters rushed to the Resorts Casino Hotel Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, forcing businesses to evacuate, according to officials.
The fire was reported around 3:48 p.m. and spread to the hotel's exterior wall and part of the marquee above the boardwalk's entrance, the city said in a statement on Facebook.
"Minimal" smoke entered the building and businesses located near the building's boardwalk entrance were briefly evacuated, according to officials. The casino floor remained open.

The fire was brought under control around 4:30 p.m. and no injuries were reported, officials said.
