Girl Shot, 2 Boys Hit By Fleeing Vehicle At Graduation Party In NJ: Police

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A girl was shot and two boys were hit by a fleeing vehicle at a graduation party Friday night in Deerfield Township, according to police.

Troopers responded around 11:40 p.m. to a home on Elm Street that was hosting the party, state police said.

A verbal altercation had occurred between two people after a vehicle collision outside the residence, according to police, who said that the incident led to multiple gunshots being fired and the juvenile female suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.

Two juvenile males were struck by a fleeing vehicle and suffered serious injuries, police said, adding that the case remained under investigation Sunday.
