NEW JERSEY — The latest winter storm has snarled traffic on roads and in the air, with thousands of flights canceled across the U.S. and in New Jersey.
Data from FlightAware shows there have been more than 4,000 flights canceled and close to 2,400 delayed Thursday morning, as a winter storm stretches across the U.S.
Dense fog and low visibility made travel conditions difficult in most of New Jersey on Thursday morning.

Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York will be under a winter weather advisory Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As of 2:15 p.m. Thursday, there have been about 200 cancellations at New Jersey's three biggest airports.
Newark International Airport has 207 cancellations and 53 delays, according to FlightAware.
Atlantic City International Airport has 3 cancellations and 0 delays, while Trenton Mercer Airport has had 6 cancellations.
