NEW JERSEY — Is the next face of Cracker Jack in New Jersey? The iconic American snack is looking for inspiring young female athletes in New Jersey and around the nation as part of the "Cracker Jill" campaign, to celebrate them and financially support their sports dreams.

Cracker Jack, which is a subsidiary of Frito-Lay and PepsiCo, introduced American snackers to Jill with special-edition bags last year (see photo above) at select Major League Baseball parks. This new face on the roster is part of the brand's efforts to support women and girls in sports, and make them feel represented.

Girls and women in sports can apply until May 16, and share how they have persisted to reach their potential on the field, court, track, or arena. Or, they can explain how they are a leader within their team or community.

One grand prize recipient will become the brand’s next Cracker Jill character, designed by artist Monica Ahanonu (who crafted the first five Jill icons). The grand prize winner will also receive transportation and accommodations in New York City for the Women’s Sports Foundation 2023 Annual Salute to Women in Sports.

The nationwide contest is open through May 16. Click here to learn more, or follow Cracker Jack on Instagram and Facebook.
