1. A 22-year-old woman is accused of slashing her boyfriend with a knife during an argument in her car, all while her four-year-old daughter was in the car. Police officials are not yet sure of the cause of the argument.(Read more on Patch.)

2. A Pennsylvania mother and grandmother who frequents the Jersey Shore and Atlantic City has gone missing, officials said. Christi Troiano, 56, has not been seen since she left her family's home on April 25. Police have been trying to locate her for weeks, and are asking for the public's help. (Read more on Patch.)
3. Puppy parade! Newark Liberty International Airport recently hosted 170 puppies and more than 200 volunteers as part of a program to train them for their future roles as guide dogs. Many of the pups will eventually help their new owners to travel through airports. (Read more on Patch.)

4. In other animal news, police in Galloway rounded up a pair of goats who decided to take a stroll down the road. These "runaway kids" had left their home, a mini-farm. (Read more on Patch.)
5. And finally, scientists confirmed that tremors felt in parts of North Jersey were from a 2.2 magnitude earthquake Friday morning. The epicenter of the quake was in Westchester County, New York, but residents more than 20 miles away reported feeling it. (Read more on Patch.)
