NEW JERSEY — The upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" will feature plenty of New Jersey star power. The cast even includes not one but two reality TV stars who gave the Garden State further notoriety on the small screen, even when it's not always pretty.

Season 31 of "Dancing with the Stars" premiers at 8 p.m. Sept. 19 on Disney+. The cast includes the following New Jersey connections:

  • Teresa Giudice, who's best known for starring in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."
  • Vinny Guadagnino, who got his big break as a "Jersey Shore" cast member.
  • Country star Jessie James Decker. She and her husband, former Jet Eric Decker, have lived in the Garden State. Jessie James Decker has released three albums. She and Eric starred in E! reality show "Eric & Jessie: Game On" from 2013-17.
  • Recording artist Jordin Sparks, who was raised in Ridgewood. Sparks, then 17, won "American Idol" in 2007. Her debut album sold more than 2 million copies worldwide, and she's starred in film, television and on Broadway.

The cast also includes actor and former "90210" star Trevor Donovan. While it's not clear how much time he's spent in New Jersey — he was born and raised in California — he tweeted that Wildwood "used to be the place to go for Senior Week." Donovan clarified in a reply that he didn't go to Wildwood for Senior Week, but some of his East Coast friends did.
