St. Patrick’s Day 2026: Your Guide To Fun In New Jersey
A guide to some of our favorite parades, concerts, and other St. Patrick's Day events across the Garden State.
New Jerseyans who plan to join in the global celebration of Irish culture can choose from big and small events, including a parade in Newark.
The March 17 holiday falls on a Tuesday this year, and many big events will be held the weekend of March 14-15. Originally a modest, religious feast day honoring the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day today is a vibrant, boisterous holiday observed by millions of people regardless of their heritage.

Friday, March 13
- Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Starts at noon, route proceeding from Prudential Center to Washington Square Park.
Saturday, March 14

- The St. Patrick’s Day Parade of Morris County: Starts at noon, route proceeding from Morristown Town Hall to Morristown High School.
- Union County St. Patrick's Day Parade: Starts at 1 p.m., route proceeding from the intersection of Morris and Jeanette Avenues to the Union Center Cannon.
- Sea Isle City St. Patrick's Day Parade: Begins at 3:30 p.m. at 83rd and East Landis Ave, down Landis Avenue to end at Kix-McNutley's.
- North Wildwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Begins at noon, proceeding north on Atlantic Avenue to Olde NJ Avenue.
Sunday, March 15
- Cranford St. Patrick’s Parade: Begins at 1 p.m. at the Community Center, going along Walnut through town, then taking North Union to Springfield.
- Bergen County St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Begins at 2 p.m. along Washington Avenue in Bergenfield.
- West Orange St. Patrick's Day Parade: Begins at 12:15 p.m. at the corners of Mt. Pleasant Avenue and Main Street, and concludes at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
- Freehold Borough Arts Council’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Begins at 12:30 p.m., proceeding down Main Street to Freehold Elks Lodge 1454.
- Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Hunterdon County Parade: Begins at 3 p.m. in Clinton.
- Somerville St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Begins at 1:30 p.m. at Main and Grove Streets, ending near Immaculate Conception Church.

Here’s your guide to some St. Patrick’s Day fun in New Jersey:
- Hunterdon County Irish Festival: From March 13 to March 15, Irish festivities will be had at the Red Mill Museum Village in Clinton. Traditional Irish food, music, and more can be enjoyed during the three-day festival, with the parade falling on March 15 at 3 p.m.
- Edison St. Patrick's Day Block Party: On March 13 from 3 to 7 p.m., Edison will host its annual St. Patrick's Day Block Party in the Old Stewarts Lot. Expect music, food, games, and even a leprechaun costume contest.
- Downtown Toms River Irish Festival: Toms River's Downtown Irish Festival is returning to Main Street on March 14 from noon to 6 p.m. "Celebrate in the street with friends, neighbors, local businesses, and some of our preferred vendors. Wear your green and gold!"
- Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade (rescheduled): The Belmar parade is now being held on March 28 and kicks off at 12:30 p.m. in Lake Como.
- The Luck of Laurita Winery Irish Fests: On March 7, 8, 14, and 15, Laurita Winery in New Egypt will be hosting Irish celebrations with music, food, and, of course, wine.
- Irish Concert at Albert Music Hall: On March 7 at 6 p.m., Albert Music Hall will be filled with the music of the Emerald Isle, featuring performances from D’Arcy School of Irish Dance, The O'talians, Tommy B and The Deep Blue Sea, and others.
- Riverdance 30 – The New Generation: From March 6 to March 8, Riverdance 30 will be performing at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown.
- Hazlet Shamrock Fest: On March 13, the Hazlet PBA will host its annual Shamrock Fest at the West Keansburg Fire Company. Guests can expect Irish-inspired rock from bands including the Jackson Street Band and The Sinking.
