4. The 27-foot long whale that washed ashore in Long Branch last week likely died because of a collision with a vehicle, researchers said. The carcass of the subadult male humpback whale, who has been observed in New Jersey waters “frequently,” was reported to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center on Aug. 12. (Read more on Patch.)

The list of required vaccines at Rutgers University shows that students and staff are required to get the COVID-19 vaccine before the upcoming fall semester at Rutgers University, unless they file an exemption.
