Top 10 Baby Names In NJ Released: See The List

The U.S. Social Security Administration released its list of the most popular names picked in New Jersey in 2021.

NEW JERSEY - The U.S. Social Security Administration released its 2021 list for most popular baby names this week, including a state-by-state breakdown of the most popular names picked in New Jersey.

Per the Garden State ranking, Olivia, Emma and Mia ranked at the top, with 549, 471 and 444 New Jersey baby girls born with the name in 2021, respectively.

Liam, Noah and Lucas placed the highest for boys’ names, with 730, 634 and 466 boys born with the names. This is the fifth year in a row that Liam has topped the list on a national level (it's also the third year in a row that Olivia has seen a place at the top of the national ranking).

The national list saw Olivia, Emma and Charlotte score the top spots for baby girl names in 2021, followed by Amelia, Ava and Sophia. On the boys' side, Liam, Noah and Oliver placed at the top, followed by Elijah, James and William.
