When Will NJ See More Rain: Latest Forecast
The Garden State is badly in need of moisture as we're under a drought warning. Here's what the forecast says:

NEW JERSEY — As conditions are the driest they've been in the Garden State in nearly 120 years, New Jerseyans are wondering: when will we finally get some impactful rain? Here's what the latest forecast has to say.
New Jersey has seen six to 11 inches less rain than normal since June, according to the Department of Environmental Protection. This extended period of dryness has sparked numerous wildfires, lowered the state's reservoirs and now, water conservation is being recommended as we enter a drought warning. We will see some rain showers Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service's Mt. Holly bureau. However, they won't be enough to make a real difference - likely a tenth of an inch of rain. And areas near and north of Philadelphia probably won't see any rainfall at all.

After that, we probably won't see measurable rainfall for at least another week, forecasters say.
"Many lake and reservoir levels may continue to drop into next week," AccuWeather forecasters said. "The drying streambeds are taking a toll on aquatic life with a significant fish kill occurring in some cases."

As we head into next week, a cold front will approach from the west, but it won't bring much moisture, forecasters say. Some light showers are possible north of Philadelphia, according to the National Weather Service, but again, nothing to put a dent in the drought.
Through middle to late next week, forecasters are tracking the possibility of some unsettled weather that could bring rain, "though a lot of uncertainty remains" as it's still too early to tell, the National Weather Service said.
