Allendale Senior Living Honors U.S. Military Veterans

Allendale Senior Living hosted a special Veteran’s Day Observance ceremony for its residents who have proudly served their country in wartime and peacetime. The event included words of gratitude, a salute to the community’s armed forces and a piano concert.

Allendale Executive Director Daniel Silva said, “Words are not enough to express the gratitude we have for the service and sacrifices of our resident veterans. This observance allowed us to come together as a community and do something special to show them how much we appreciate their courage and commitment to keeping us safe.”

Observed annually on November 11, Veteran’s Day is marked by local remembrances and parades across the U.S., as well as a national ceremony held each year at Arlington National Cemetery.
