2 Charged In Jersey Shore Target Shoplifting: Police
Two Asbury Park residents have been charged in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Seaview Square Mall Target location.

NEW JERSEY - Two Asbury Park residents have been charged in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Seaview Square Mall Target location on Monday, authorities said.
Christopher J. Mobley and Shannon V. Soto, both 28 years old, were charged this week in connection with the lifted merchandise, officers said.
Mobley was arrested on Wednesday and charged with shoplifting, possession of burglar tools, and criminal mischief. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute pending an initial court appearance.

Soto was arrested on Thursday and charged with eluding, shoplifting, possession of burglar tools, and criminal mischief. She was also committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute pending an initial court appearance.
On Monday at 6:49 p.m., Ocean Township officers were dispatched to Target for a report of a shoplifting. It was later revealed that two subjects had removed over $600 worth of merchandise from the retailer.

The two individuals reportedly had concealed merchandise, exited the store and left in a vehicle.
An Ocean Township officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot, but the vehicle sped away.
