• Renderings Revealed for 216 Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey (newyorkyimby.com) — A full block along Cookman Avenue and Wesley Lake Drive in Asbury Park is slated for a new four-story, Mediterranean-style apartment building with 27 units, private terraces, a roof deck, and a 42-space garage elevated for flood protection. The project replaces a one-story commercial building and parking lot and will bring mostly two- and three-bedroom homes right by Wesley Lake, signaling another significant change to the city's core.
   

• State findings: Nor'easter causes major beach, dune erosion along 10 New Jersey beaches (news12.com) — State environmental officials say Asbury Park's beaches suffered minor erosion in the recent nor'easter, while some nearby Shore towns saw moderate to major dune and beach damage. The DEP's new assessment flags 81 concern areas and will guide where repairs, dune work, and cleanup may be prioritized as communities evaluate storm impacts.
