Two fatal shootings happened in the same Jersey Shore community overnight, police said.
An Asbury Park man was fatally shot on Tuesday night in front of 707 Sewell Ave, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced on Wednesday.

In the Sewall Avenue case, the Asbury Park Police Department responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the city at about 1:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, police located the victim, identified as Jabar Busby, 32, of 709 Sewall Ave., unresponsive with a gunshot wound, according to the MCPO.

Busby was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune Township where he was pronounced dead at 2:33 a.m., according to the MCPO.
