• Geese Stolen From Deal Lake In Asbury Park (patch.com) — Longtime Deal Lake favorites Taco and Churro, two geese cherished by Asbury Park residents and Catbird restaurant patrons, were taken by three people and transported to a Warren County farm. After a social media outcry, an Asbury Park detective and Monmouth County SPCA officer retrieved the birds, who were found healthy and are now safely back on the lake while the investigation continues.
