A Monmouth County mother wants an an apology after her son, who has autism, was dropped off at the wrong bus stop.
Javon Hall’s mother, Jovonta, said her 5-year-old son was dropped off seven blocks away from their Asbury Park home, alone, on the ride home from the Bradley Elementary School, according to ABC7 Eyewitness News. Javon has non-verbal autism.
Jovonta told ABC 7 Eyewitness News that the mother of another child saw the boy and took Javon back to the Bradley Elementary school. Jovonta had written her son's name, phone number and school on his backpack and she indicated that he does not speak.

The matter is under investigation, Asbury Park School District Superintendent Lamont Repollet told The Asbury Park Press.
The mother praised the school district for its efforts, but she's contacted the bus company and has not received an apology, according to the report.
