Half-Naked Coach Found Trespassing At NJ School: Cops

Vomit, feces and a half-naked head football coach were found at the high school during a weekend police call.

ASBURY PARK, NJ - Feces and vomit were found by police inside a locker room at Asbury Park High School last weekend after the head football coach was discovered partially naked with a woman on school property, according to a police report.

Asbury Park High School head football coach Nick Famularo was found by police near the high school stadium on Nov. 6, the Asbury Park Press first reported. He has since been placed on paid administrative leave, the publication wrote.

Two assistant coaches, Matt Ardizzone and Lamar Davenport, as well as the district’s athletic director Mark Gerbino, were also suspended as of Monday, per the outlet.

Local authorities were called to the high school stadium early Saturday morning around 2 a.m. for a report of a trespasser near the gate leading to the school sports stadium.

Famularo, 26, was sitting by the main door leading to the locker room, "holding what appeared to be a jersey covering the lower part of his body," according to the report filed by Asbury Park police and obtained by Patch.

"Nick was asked where his clothes were and he stated he did not know," the report continues.

Famularo was then placed in the rear of a patrol vehicle "due to him not having any pants on."

Another coach soon after unlocked the locker room for further investigation, which yielded the discovery of "human feces on one of the rugs" and "vomit on ... the football jerseys, along with what appeared to be his pants and sneakers."

Famularo was also with a 31-year-old female at the time of the incident.

Following his suspension, the coach will not be leading the annual Thanksgiving Day game against Neptune, according to Asbury Park district spokeswoman Chanta L. Jackson.

"Mr. Robert Ward has been named acting head coach effective Nov. 8," she said.
