An Asbury Park man admitted trying to intimidate a witness who testified in a 2024 murder trial.
ASBURY PARK, NJ — An Asbury Park man admitted trying to intimidate a witness who testified in a 2024 murder trial, said Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago.
On Tuesday, Jaisun Z. Brow, 21, pleaded guilty to second-degree witness retaliation, before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Joseph Oxley.
This stemmed from a 2022 homicide in Asbury Park: Starting last April, 2025, Brown sent a number of text messages towards or publicly referencing the witness in that homicide trial. The messages were either threatening or suggestively violent in nature.
