And it's not in sports broadcasting. Or running for president.

Chris Christie has found a new job. And it's not in sports broadcasting or running for office.

The former Republican governor on Tuesday made his first appearance as a political contributor for ABC News on Tuesday, the network announced.

ABC described Christie, who appeared on "Good Morning America," as a "friend and adviser to President Donald Trump." He'll aso appear during the network's coverage of Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday night.

Christie, who was succeeded by Gov. Phil Murphy, was considered for a talk show host position on WFAN. He also ran for president and lost.
