Lake Como Bar Hosts 'Springsteen On Sunday' Radio Show Sunday
Well-known Lake Como watering hole Bar Anticipation will be the live broadcast location this Sunday for the "Springsteen on Sunday" show.

LAKE COMO, NJ — Well-known Lake Como watering hole Bar Anticipation will be the live broadcast location this Sunday for the "Springsteen on Sunday" radio show, hosted by Tom Cunningham on 107.1 The Boss (WWZY-FM).
If you don't know that radio show, it's when any caller can call in and request a song from Bruce Springsteen and other Jersey Shore legends. It's a great Sunday morning radio show on the Jersey Shore.
This Sunday, November 20, 'Springsteen on Sunday' will broadcast live from Bar Anticipation and feature a performance by Jersey Shore favorite, Joe D'Urso. Bar “A” doors will open at 8:00 a.m.

This is also a fundraiser for Fulfill (formerly, The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties) and this is the 17th years Bar A has done this fundraiser to feed the hungry.
A total of 20 song requests, starting at a $25, benefitting Fulfill, will be accepted on site at the bar or by calling (732) 643-5831, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Donations over the phone will be accepted via credit card and in-person donations may be made using cash, check, credit card or Venmo. Listeners are invited request the Springsteen song of their choice, provided it has not been previously selected, and they may include a personal dedication.

Following the November 20 event, a special three-hour edition of the show will play back the requests on 107.1 The Boss, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 27.

Bruce Springsteen's commitment to hunger concerns in his backyard and globally is legendary. In our 17th year, our program in support of Fulfill and its partners offers a sense of pride for all involved.”
Fulfill feeds the hungry and poor in Monmouth and Ocean counties and was the non-profit that told the world about this story, when schools were forced to be all virtual in the pandemic: Monmouth Co.
