• Point Pleasant man charged in Asbury Park swastika graffiti incidents (news12.com) — Asbury Park police have charged a Point Pleasant man in connection with four swastika graffiti incidents reported around Main Street and Memorial Drive earlier this month. The bias intimidation and criminal mischief charges stem from symbols found at the Mercy Center, a 7‑Eleven, an electrical panel box, and another Memorial Drive location, raising serious concerns about hate-motivated vandalism in town.
   

• Asbury Park Convention Hall Gets $75M Tax Credit For $130M Restoration (dailyvoice.com) — Asbury Park's long-closed Convention Hall, Grand Arcade, and Paramount Theater just secured up to $75 million in state tax credits toward a $130 million restoration, paving the way for a year-round oceanfront arts hub. City officials say construction, already underway, will span about 34 months and comes with strict compliance requirements for the developer.
   

• Asbury Park Seniors Invited to Property Tax Relief Seminar in Nearby Neptune (tapinto.net) — Asbury Park seniors and disabled residents can get one-on-one help understanding New Jersey's Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ property tax relief programs at a state-run seminar in nearby Neptune on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Representatives from the Division of Taxation will walk you through eligibility, income limits, and how combined benefits could cover up to half your property tax bill.
