Stella Marina Abruptly Closes In Asbury Park

ASBURY PARK, NJ — Stella Marina in Asbury Park suddenly closed Monday, and it will not be reopening.

Stella Marina did not give a reason for its abrupt closure.

Stella Marina is one of the many beachfront bars and eateries credited with reviving Asbury Park. For a decade now, the stylish, trendy Stella Marina occupied a prime piece of corner real estate, overlooking the Asbury Park boardwalk and the sea.

"With heavy hearts, we announce the closing of our doors," Stella Marina posted Monday on its Facebook page.

"It has been a true privilege to serve the Asbury Park community over the past several years. We are deeply grateful to our incredible staff, loyal customers, friends, and community supporters who made Stella such a special destination on the beach. Asbury Park, thank you for the memories, the support, and the love."

On that note ... MJ's Abruptly Closes Its Original Tinton Falls Location: Saturday, Feb. 28 was their last day of business.
