• 3 NJ arcades have been ranked among best in nation (nj1015.com) — Atlantic City's Lucky Snake Arcade at the Showboat Hotel has been ranked the No. 2 arcade in the entire country, underscoring the city's boardwalk gaming reputation. A new study of arcades nationwide also spotlights standout venues in Asbury Park and East Rutherford, but Atlantic City's massive former casino floor-turned-arcade leads New Jersey's showing.
• Strathmere Beach Tags 2027: South Jersey Free Beach Ending (wfpg.com) — Starting in summer 2027, Strathmere will no longer be a free beach, but Atlantic City's beaches will remain free to use, along with Wildwood, North Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest. Upper Township approved new beach tags to help cover rising costs, while neighboring Cape May County towns already charge for access, making Atlantic City an even more budget-friendly shore option.
