(nj.com subscription) — Atlantic Highlands’ own St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church makes a cameo in the new ‘Friday the 13th’ prequel series ‘Crystal Lake,’ which was filmed entirely across New Jersey. The production spent over $76 million statewide, using locations from Keansburg Pier to Boonton and Newark to recreate a 1970s horror setting, and hired about 1,500 people during its 82-day shoot.
