2 Dogs Die In Ocean Acres Fire: Police
The dogs were treated with oxygen and taken to the Lakewood Animal Hospital before both passed away, police said.
MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — Two dogs died after a fire in an Ocean Acres home on Sunday afternoon, Stafford police said. The dogs were treated with oxygen and taken to the Lakewood Animal Hospital, but both later died, according to officials.
There were no people inside the home on Inboard Avenue at about 3:30 p.m., police said. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
The Stafford, Barnegat and Lacey Township Fire Companies responded to the fire. Stafford and Barnegat EMS assisted.
