MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Here are three upcoming events involving and/or supporting Manahawkin-area first responders.

Fired Up Car Show & Vendor Fair

10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, Stafford Township Fire House (133 Stafford Ave., Manahawkin)

Trophies will be distributed for best in show, 30's, 40's, 50'6, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000s, this decade and best-appearing fire apparatus. The kitchen will be open, and it's all homemade.

Blood Drive

2-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, Stafford Township EMS Building (365 East Bay Ave., Manahawkin)

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. Schedule your appointment here.

Ice Cream Fundraiser

6-10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30, Rita's (50 West Bay Ave., Manahawkin)
