4 Upcoming Easter Bunny Appearances In LBI

LONG BEACH ISLAND, N.J. — You might soon spot the Easter Bunny throughout Long Beach Island. The bunny is set to appear at several local events.

Here are four events, including egg hunts, where the bunny has confirmed an appearance. If I missed any, send me an email at josh.bakan@patch.com.

Long Beach Township Easter Egg Hunt

April 13, 2 to 4 p.m., Bayview Park LBI (68th Street, Brant Beach)

This egg hunt will take place at Lauren Rousseau's Playground in Bayview Park 6800 Long Beach Blvd. Brant Beach. Please bring a penny to help celebrate Lauren's life and bring your own basket for the hunt.

The event features two egg hunts for children 5 and under, and one for children 5 to 10. There will be music, light snacks, refreshments and an appearance from the Easter Bunny. Rain date is April 14.

This event is run by Long Beach Twp PBA 373, Long Beach Township Parks and Recreation and the Where Angels Play Foundation.

Meet the Easter Bunny

April 20, 1 to 3 p.m., Schooner's Wharf LBI (325 9th St., Beach Haven)

Spend the afternoon strolling through Schooner's Wharf and Bay Village shopping destinations while taking some "Bunny selfies" on Easter Weekend.

SCPD's 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

April 20, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Surf City Veterans Park (11th and LB Boulevard, Surf City)

The Surf City Police Department hosts their annual hunt. Bring a basket or borrow one of theirs.

The Surf City Volunteer Fire Company will also host their annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon, where the Easter Bunny will appear.

Tea and Songs with the Bunny and Friends

April 20, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Surflight Theatre (201 Engleside Ave., Beach Haven)

Enjoy tea and sweets with the Easter Bunny, princesses and friends will entertain you with songs, dancing and fun in the Show Place Ice Cream Parlour. This event benefits Children's Miracle Network and the Surflight Education Program.

Tickets cost $15 each.
