All 6 Council Seats, Mayor Up For Election In Stafford This November
With two current council members declining to run again, Stafford will see some fresh faces on the dais no matter what.

STAFFORD, NJ — This fall, all six Township Council seats are up for election in Stafford, and a battle for mayor is set.
Tuesday's uncontested primary for both Democrats and Republicans set the stage for a contested election in November.
And no matter what the results are in November, there will be fresh faces on the dais: both councilmen Paul Krier and Thomas Steadman weren't on the ballot Tuesday. Instead, Christopher DarConte (a current member of the township zoning board) and Sergio Fossa will run for their seats.

Robert Henken, who was appointed mayor following the departure of Greg Myhre who joined the General Assembly, will seek a full term as mayor. He will be challenged by Democrat Joseph M. Mangino, previously vice president of the Stafford Township Board of Education. He also ran against Myhre in the 2018 mayoral election, where Myhre's slate ousted all incumbent Republicans in the primary.
Here are the candidates you'll see on Stafford's ballot in November:
