They're teaming with a Barnegat Light commercial fisherman and seeking help from NOAA and local universities to safely remove the net and spotlight derelict gear along the Jersey Shore.
5. Man Arrested for Cocaine Distribution in Little Egg Harbor (thesandpaper.net) — A regional narcotics investigation in Little Egg Harbor led to the arrest of an Atlantic City man on multiple cocaine distribution and possession charges, with additional offenses filed in other jurisdictions. Barnegat's Crime Reduction Unit joined Stafford police, state police, and parole officers in the operation, underscoring ongoing multi-town cooperation against drug activity affecting Ocean County communities.
