Andrew 'Andy' Cavaliere, Retired State Trooper, Dies

Memorial Mass slated for Nov. 4 at St. Mary's Church in Barnegat.

Andrew “Andy” Cavaliere, of Barnegat passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin.

Born and raised in Jersey City, he enlisted in the New Jersey State Police in 1967 as a member of the 74th class and retired as a lieutenant in 1998. An avid fisherman and hunter, he donated 25 years of his time and cooking expertise to form the Allentown Area Hunters, which raised monies for local charities.

Predeceased by daughter, Karen Bilecki, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Ruthmary “Roe”, three daughters Christina Cavaliere, Joanne Sieger, Michele Tallick and husband Greg, three brothers, BJ and Michele, Robert and Anne Marie, Jack and Nancy, two sisters, Audrey Cavaliere, Jane Marino and husband Jerry and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. on Nov.4, 2015, , at St. Mary’s Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
