'Bacon Fest' Coming To Tuckerton Seaport This Weekend

Good news for bacon lovers, bad news for pigs. Event will run for two days on July 9 and July 10.

The Tuckerton Seaport will be hosting a July 9 and July 10 event that focuses on something most other festivals don't include - bacon.

That's right. Bacon.

"Bacon Fest" will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Seaport.

A bacon-eating contest will be held and the winner awarded the championship belt. Food trucks and resturants will feature all things bacon. There will also be a mini-pig race with live animals.

"Whoever said nothing tastes as good as being skinny obviously never had bacon," according to the Seaport's website.

General Admission is $8. Seaport Members Free. Children under 5 are free. The Seaport is located at 120 West Main Street in Tuckerton.
