Barnegat Bayfront Flooded From Latest High Tide

Barnegat Township police are asking the public to avoid traveling in the Beach Avenue area and the municipal dock, due to flooding from the recent high tide.

The National Weather Service is calling for moderate coastal flooding this morning and major flooding in certain areas during the lastest high tide this morning.r, Return Program

“Roadway flooding will persist overnight,” the NWS said. “Widespread roadway flooding and some damage to vulnerable structures is expected on Tuesday morning. Wave action will result in significant beach erosion.”
