Barnegat Car Theft Suspects On Video, Unidentified: Police
Barnegat police asked the public for help identifying two people on a Wawa surveillance video.

Two unlocked vehicles in Barnegat were burglarized in the overnight hours of Feb. 2 and 3, according to the Barnegat Police Department. Wawa surveillance footage shows two people walking in the store before using one of the stolen credit cards, police said.
Barnegat police asked the public for help Thursday in identifying the two individuals on the surveillance video. Both thefts took place in the Old Main Shore Road area, police said. One of the victim's credit cards was also used for Lyft at about 3:30 a.m. that night, according to police.

The male and female in the video walked into Wawa (945 W. Bay Ave.) at about 3:45 a.m., police said. Anyone with information can contact Detective Cirulli at 609-698-5000 x215.
