Barnegat Couple Facing Heroin Charges: Cops

K-9 Officer "Ollie" apprehended man after he fled the scene.

Barnegat police and the Ocean County Regional SWAT team recently arrested two Barnegat residents on several heroin charges, according to the Barnegat Police Department's Facebook page.

Law enforcement officials made the arrests after executing a search warrant at a home on Lexington Avenue.

Alexander Robinson, 37, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a recreational zone, obstruction and resisting arrest. Robinson fled on foot before he was arrested and was apprehended by Stafford Township K-9 Officer "Ollie," police said.

Robinson's bail was set at $150,000. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

Tara Estrella, 33. She was also charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of Suboxone. She was processed and released, police said.
