Barnegat Farmers Market Canceled Due To Weather

Wednesday's farmers market was scheduled as the last of the year.

BARNEGAT, NJ — The Barnegat Farmers Market was canceled Thursday because of inclement weather, the Township announced.

Thursday was set to be the final farmers market of the season. The farmers market ran every Thursday since June 20. The Township announced the cancelation at 11:04 a.m. Thursday on Nixle.

The announcement comes on the same day as Halloween, when several New Jersey towns have wrestled with how to handle trick-or-treating with Thursday's forecast.
