The 1st Annual Great Santa Run 5K will be on Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Blue Claws’ First Energy Stadium in Lakewood. What a great way to celebrate the holiday season while supporting the Barnegat High School Interact Team in meeting their fundraising goal to raise money for:
-PBA-Police Benevolent Association
-Samantha Franco - A BHS Alumni (class of 2009) who is battling Stage IV Synovial Cancer
-Local Families in need
Through Nov. 25, registration is $25 per person or $20 per person for a group of four or more. The fee is $10 for the kids dash. From Nov. 26 to Dec. 10, the respective fees are $30, $25 and $15. On the day of the race, admission is $35, $30 and $20.
The Great Santa Run has teamed up with the Lakewood Blue Claws to bring you the BEST RACE BREAKFAST IN NEW JERSEY. The Interact Team and the Lakewood Blue Claws will prepare a hot breakfast that will go down in race breakfast history, don't miss this! Participants receive a free meal ticket. If you want to bring guests, please purchase extra meal tickets for $10. 100% of meal ticket sales will be donated to The Interact Team to help them meet their fundraising goal for families in Ocean County, who are in need.
The Interact club of Barnegat also invites you to get into the giving spirit and bring a $10 unopened, unwrapped toy to be given to local children.
