BARNEGAT, NJ — Ann Aarons has been homeless since a house fire destroyed her Schooner Avenue home six years ago.
According to a report from Amanda Oglesby of the Asbury Park Press, in the six years since, Aarons has spent many nights in her truck as she fought with the insurance company and struggled to rebuild.
Photos, also taken by Oglesby, show a home that, from an outsider's perspective, looks beyond repair.
