Today is National Signing Day, when high school athletes around the country make official commitments to play for college teams. Barnegat High School is holding a ceremony this morning to celebrate football player Ryan Morris' signing of his letter of intent to play for Purdue University come fall, and we'll be there – look for the story later today.

- Today: A chance of showers, mainly before 7 a.m. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 61. West wind between 13 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Tonight: A slight chance of rain after 4 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 39. North wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
