Barnegat Police Pick Up Several On Outstanding Warrants

One woman had two child support warrants totaling nearly $8,000, police said.

Barnegat police recently arrested three Ocean County residents on outstanding warrants from several towns, Sgt. Jeffrey Ryan said.

Patrolman Robert Walder arrested Josephine Reed, 24, Tuckerton, at 11:04 p.m. on March 16 on two outstanding child support warrants from the Ocean County Sheriff's Department. One warrant was for $6,986.42 and the other for $953.58. Walder determined that Reed had the outstanding warrants while he was investigated an unrelated incident. Reed was processed and taken to the Ocean County jail in Toms River, Ryan said.

Patrolman Stephen Russoniello arrested Christopher Fix, 44, Barnegat on 5:32 p.m. on March 11 on an outstanding $250 warrant from the Ocean Township municipal court. Russoniello observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation on Bayside Avenue and determined that Fix had the outstanding warrant after he stopped the vehicle. Fix was processed and released on his own recognizance.

Russoniello also arrested Ryan Paz, 24, Barnegat, at 10:59 p.m. on March 18 on an an outstanding $250 warrant from the Point Pleasant Beach Municipal Court and an outstanding $350 warrant issued by the Toms River Municipal Court. Russoniello observed Paz's vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation on James Hollow Drive and determined Paz had the outstanding warrants after stopping the vehicle. Fix was released after posting bail, Ryan said.

While on the same motor vehicle stop, Russoniello arrested Daniel Putman, 24, Barnegat,on an outstanding $500 warrant issued by the Beachwood municipal court. Putman was a passenger in Ryan Paz's vehicle. determined that Putman was processed and released on his own recognizance, Ryan said.
