Barnegat Santa Run 2019: Santa Visit Schedule, Routes

BARNEGAT, NJ — Santa and Mrs. Claus are about to light up Barnegat and will be escorted around town. Santa Run 2019 returns in December.

Santa Claus will begin Dec. 7 by lighting up the Cox House and the Gazebo downtown. Then he'll arrive at Birdsall Street to light up the firehouse, where children can visit him at 7 p.m. The visit is free. Bring your cameras.

The Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company recommends bringing a nonperishable food item to each event for the food pantry.

Here are the dates, with routing information:

• Dec. 7: Wildward area.
• Dec. 8: Timbers area. Santa will visit the Timbers-Deer Run area and Memorial Drive.
• Dec. 11: Ocean Acres area. Santa will visit the Ocean Acres section of town.
• Dec. 14: Settlers area. Santa will visit Liberty Glenn, Freedom Hills and Settlers Landing sections.
• Dec. 15: Pebble Beach. Santa will visit Pebble Beach, Atlantic Highlands and downtown Barnegat.
• Dec. 16: Pinewood Estates and Brighton. Santa visits the Brighton and Pinewood Estates Section.

Santa runs will be canceled for bad weather, and they will attempt to make them up. Santa's firehouse visit will take place regardless of weather.
