UPDATE: FOUND! Barnegat Police Asking For Public's Help To Find Missing Woman

BARNEGAT, NJ - Barnegat police have heard from 23-year-old Theresa Michaelson, but they don't know where she is and she is now considered a missing person, according to the police department's Facebook page.

Theresa was last seen by her boyfriend around 1:10 p.m. on Sept. 2, walking on Old Cedar Bridge Road, towards Warren Grove Road.

Theresa is a white female with red hair and hazel eyes. She is roughly 5 feet, 1 inch and weighs about 210 pounds. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a "Seaside Heights" logo, gray sweatshirt and black
shoes, the post states.

"This agency has been in communication with Theresa, however, she refuses to provide her location," according to the post.

She has been entered into the NCIC network as a missing person. Police must physically confirm that she is not in any danger.
