Battle at the Bay Cheer Competition Supports Bengal Girls

There's still time to and support the Bengals cheerleaders on their road to nationals.

A total of 19 teams from around Ocean and Monmouth County are at Barnegat High School today to compete in the Battle at the Bay Competition, an invitational fundraiser. The Barnegat High School junior varsity and varsity teams are competing, along with the Brackman Middle School competition team and game team and the Junior Bengals competition teams.

Spectators are getting more than a great show. the varsity team's trip to their conference's upcoming national competition in Florida, where they'll defend their third-in-the-nation standing.
